An extension can be characterized as a part that is added to something to enlarge or prolong it.

There are two types of the procedure. Micro blading and Nano blading. Either of them are not extensions. Although they give the brows that thick look.
Micro blading is believed to have originated in China in the early ought’s but has only recently gained popularity.

Nano blading eyebrows basically means adding so called “strokes” into the brow arches, between the natural hair. They are made by depositing color in the form of PMU pigments into the surface layers of the skin. The strokes blend with natural hair and give a very subtle but effective enhancement. The results of nano blading are very realistic as the strokes made are extremely thin. Hence the difference lies in the thickness of the blade. While micro blades are usually 0.20+ mm thick, the thickness of the nano blade is around 0.15mm (some manufacturers make them a bit thinner , some make them a bit thicker) and it comes in a U or a slant pin formation. According to the majority of the artists, nano blading is just micro blading but with a very thin blade.

Types of hair extensions:

Weaves are the hair extensions that are the sewn in with a needle and can last up to three months.
Taped hair extensions are the extensions that are attached with a tape to the hair from underneath the top layer.
The glue-taped hair extensions are similar, but glue is used to secure the hair extensions to the hair.
Clip-on hair extensions are temporary ones where the top end of the extension is a clip that is used to add the extensions to the natural hair.

• It’s easy to put them in and take them out, with no need to go to a salon.
